Today(2024 September 8th), I want to share a little story from my garden. I live in the sunny, tropical city of Galle in Sri Lanka, where the weather is warm, and plants grow beautifully. I dream of building a lush tropical garden filled with colorful flowers, tall green plants, and cozy little corners to relax in. Every plant I add to my garden brings me one step closer to making this dream come true.

One of my newest plants is called Philodendron erubescens, a lovely green plant with shiny leaves. This special plant came from my neighbor Dunkan’s garden. Dunkan has a wonderful garden that I really like, with a pretty pond full of water and fish. It’s a place full of life, and every time I visit, I get inspired to make my garden just as beautiful.

This plant has been with us for about three months, growing happily in my home. Today, I decided it was time to give it a little trim. I carefully cut the plant at the bottom and separated it into five little sticks. Each stick is now planted in my backyard, and I can't wait to see them grow tall and strong.

I love working in my garden and watching how my plants change every day. I’m excited to take care of these new little plants and watch them grow big. Stay tuned for more stories about my garden adventures. Who knows what exciting things will happen next?
