A growing collection of everyday design observations—small details, interactions, spaces, objects, and systems that shape how people experience the world.
Design is not limited to apps and interfaces. It appears in the way a door handle guides movement, how a café organizes its queue, how packaging communicates value, and how a public space invites people to pause or move.
These field notes help me notice those decisions, understand why they work or fail, and connect everyday experiences to my own design practice.
What did I notice?
Where and when did I encounter it?
What specific design choice stood out?
How did it affect my behavior, emotion, or understanding?
What can I learn from it, and how might I apply that insight?
Add new observations below as they happen.
