Before this client is talking me to work on this logo. me and my girlfriend had a talk about What is your favourite sinhala letter. She said ‘A’ . that is a one thing me and my girlfrind had agreed on. My girldfriind is a one who has great sense of everything. but most of the time she dosent talk much of that. The time when she said ‘A’ is her favourite letter of the sinhalaese. iremebered when i got nothing in my hand and only the pen and a paer how i beautifully draw letter in paper. im a one person like my girlfrind who like letter ‘A’. im not sure because its just the first letter in the sinhala alphabet and just because i started writing with that letter. in sinhala culture there this akuru kiyweema for small children when they growen up. this ceremony is a big deal fr the lankan parents. so they make a time according to this child horoscope and make a time to read. so in this sevent letter ‘A’ was the letter we read and write.

Anyhow i had this habbit to write this letter ‘A’ every where when had a lazy time. i tried to draw most beautiful letter upto now my mind dosent approve any of that letters as the best. still im trying.

Days passing by and this client send a text message on instagram and telling me that theres her brother vailla is now build he need a logo for that. she sent some of the images from that villa and also the booking. vom link to see the villa. And also said the name Aavy’s. so i dint ask much of this i was looking to the villa and tried some logos. i dont why i take much time for logo. anyhow as usual for this i have taken uch time than expected. since this client gave me other 2 logos which is very urgent i was mumbling with this Avvy’s logo. after not making any progress isent a message to client and asked the story. so she said said that This villa is my brothers and brother kids’ name is Avya which is beautiful sinhala name. with that in my head i started drafting the logo. then suddenly came to my mind that letter ‘A’ story and i came up with this design for this villa.

Since the the client has told me that this villa needs a heritage kind of stuff. i was looking for the sinhala old mansions. in those. days i was watching Madolduwa as well in the youtube. this madolduwa story based on a beautiful rural story written by martin wickramasinghe based on his novel. i have read that book and i felt love with that. so this youtube had that old madolduwa teledram wihci had 16 episodes. this madolduwa also is near to the place this villa also situated. this area has lot of old mansion which will go back 200 or 300 years back. this mansions have lot of charactor. the door designs and ewindow and architecture is very amazing. dfrom this sense ihave taken a shape for develop this logo. what i did was i draw 2 rectangles one verticsall and horizontally and combine then i reducue the radius of this sharp edges. that become a heritage feel of shape then i draw this letter ‘A’ inside of that and it became logo that i was in my head.

color selection is one og my another good decisions i have ever made for this logo.i wanted a heritage color feel for this logo so selected mahogani color for the logo icon. the keep the heritage feel i want that same tone of colors to be applied.i searched for colors for days . i didnt rush for that by taking time i have applied colors for each section. this colors represents the nature which is land green for trees and soil like wise.

this logo is one of my favorite logo out come. my girlfriend also really like about the logo.
